ABOUT US

WHO IS BEL-AIRE COMMUNITY PARTNERS?

We are a youth-based ministry in West Greenville. We exist to know, love and partner with our neighbors by promoting and giving opportunity for their spiritual, educational and relational growth. Our various programs are tailored toward K5 - 12th graders. In all of our programs, we take an approach that is prayerful, relational, and practical.

Core Values…

  • Outcome: Each of our students at Bel-Aire experience the truth and power of the Gospel through every program and event

  • Outcome: Each program and event gives us a platform for relationships. Students in our program are supported by a network of strong and healthy friendships, mentors and leaders

  • Outcome: Each student in our program is given a wide variety of educational experiences; including weekly academic support, field trips, inspirational speakers, individual and group projects and workshops

Serving West Greenville for almost 15 years…

Bel-Aire began in 2010 with a summer camp for neighborhood kids in West Greenville run by a handful of volunteers. These volunteers had a heart for the community and a love for the students that kept them coming back to Seth Street summer after summer. By 2018, there were over 50 students attending camp each summer, and the Board decided it was time to move towards hiring a year-round staff and turn summer camp into 12-months of youth programming.

In 2020, Bel-Aire launched Boost, an after-school and tutoring program for elementary students. And in 2021 added a teen leadership development program to give middle and high school students the opportunity to discover their gifts and take ownership over their futures. Through all of the growth over the past few years, the heart of Bel-Aire remains the same: to know, love and partner with our neighbors in West Greenville. We exist to be a place that promotes and gives opportunity for their spiritual, relational and educational growth. And we'd love to have you join us!

Why is this work important?

  • We believe that we are known by God, the Creator, giver and sustainer of life, so we seek to know our neighbors, to get to know their personalities, families, strengths and desires.

  • We believe that we are loved by God, so we seek to make our neighbors a priority and value their individual gifts and personalities as fellow Image Bearers.

  • We believe that God did not leave us alone, but came to Earth to walk among us in the person of Jesus, to lead us to the Father, the fullness of life… so we seek to walk among our neighbors and to partner with them as we walk through every day life together.

“Potential is everywhere… Opportunity is not.”
